From Arizona roots to Bay lease and Nashville home: Brock Purdy

When Brock Purdy stepped onto the NFL stage after being the final pick of the 2022 draft, he arrived in San Francisco with the mindset of a recent graduate more than a seasoned professional. The quarterback’s first off-field address was a modest house shared with fellow linemen Alfredo Gutierrez and Nick Zakelj, a setup that felt more like a college roommate arrangement than a typical star’s dwelling.

Living together, the trio turned the house into a low-key retreat, cooking meals, watching movies, and even playing Mario Super Slugger on idle evenings. Gutierrez later recalled that Purdy handled the bulk of the cooking, while Zakelj stayed on as the sole roommate once Gutierrez moved on. By 2023, Purdy was splitting rent with Zakelj and still commuting in his trusty Toyota Sequoia, keeping the lifestyle simple despite his rising profile.

Bay Area rental becomes a family hub

Marriage in 2024 prompted a move for Purdy and his wife Jenna. The couple secured a rental home in the Bay Area, a space they transformed into a child-friendly sanctuary after the birth of their daughter, Millie Joleen, in July 2025. Jenna described the renovation process as a joint effort with Pottery Barn, focusing on abundant storage for toys and resilient furniture suitable for family gatherings. “Becoming new parents, we really wanted this house to feel like a home where our family is going to continue to grow,” she said in a video tour of the revamped rooms.

In July 2026 the Purdy family announced another addition on the way, reinforcing the home’s role as a growing nest. Their Bay Area lease, though temporary, reflects a deliberate choice to prioritize flexibility while the quarterback’s career continues to evolve. The rental’s location also keeps Purdy close to Levi’s Stadium, allowing swift transitions between practice, games, and family time.

Nashville acquisition after blockbuster contract

May 2025 marked a turning point when Purdy signed a five-year, $265 million extension, catapulting him into the league’s elite earning tier. The financial boost spurred the quarterback’s first major real-estate purchase: a house in Nashville, Tennessee, revealed by teammate George Kittle on a June podcast. Kittle quipped that the new neighbor might someday be a target for his own passes, underscoring the camaraderie that often follows such moves.

During the summer, Purdy trained at Kittle’s football compound in Nashville, blending workout routines with a glimpse of his new neighborhood. While details of the Nashville property remain private, the acquisition signals Purdy’s intent to diversify his asset base beyond the Bay Area lease, aligning his personal investments with his long-term professional security.

Fan outreach: a Costco surprise in Santa Clara

Off the field, Purdy maintains a visible presence in the community. On November 1, 2026, he appeared at the Santa Clara Costco on Coleman Avenue from four to five p.m., representing the hydration brand Recover 180. Though he did not sign autographs, the first 100 fans received complimentary posters, and everyone could snap photos with the quarterback. Purdy’s role as a brand ambassador began in 2024, joining other NFL stars like Travis Kelce and Kyler Murray in promoting the drink.

The event coincided with the 49ers’ 6-0 run, just before their away game against the Atlanta Falcons. While the team enjoys a bye week the following week, Purdy’s appearance highlights how his growing fame translates into community engagements, reinforcing his image as both a competitor on the field and a relatable figure off it.
