The Evolution of the Sierra 1500

The 2027 GMC Sierra 1500 builds on the legacy of its predecessor, which introduced the MultiPro tailgate in 2018. This versatile feature, now enhanced with a lighter weight and additional tie-downs, is just one of the many improvements. GMC’s global vice president, Mike MacPhee, emphasizes that the team has taken a strong truck and improved every aspect, from powertrains to digital displays and audio systems. The Sierra 1500 is offered in six trims, with the Denali and AT4 brands standing out due to their popularity and double-digit growth over the past decade.
